Yes, but I am sick again and this time I lost my voice! (Too much screaming, ha ha, metaphorically speaking) But as soon as I can speak again I will check your calendar. Thank you
WOW! What great writing and soul cleansing words/images. I'm the author of "Stress R Us" and use the term "population density stress", which includes our alienation from our home clans, from Nature undisturbed by human activity, and immersion in the incessant dim of urban/suburban human activity, as well as our alienation from spiritual experiences. You make me long for the many natural areas on the West Coast and my sheep farm in the finger Lakes area of NY state. It is a delicious if painful longing for a 79yo retired physician/psychiatrist/addictionist/stress researcher, and I thank you for it. Have a blessed day and know that you and I are not alone on this journey of life in troubled times. Namaste'
Thanks doc! Your readership and comment is very much appreciated! Intriguing work you share. I like the sound of "Stress R Us." It seems we have similar views on many topics. I am grateful for the beauty of the natural world. I am marinating in it daily and any way I can share or inspire makes the memory of the experience even better. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and your consoling words of solidarity! Thanks for being here!
One of the most vital things I've read here, thank you, dear Nessa! I'm definitely feeling the need to unplug from the matrix and untangle my synapses, your encouragement here is so helpful.
Thank you, friend. Our minds did not evolve to receive this much stimuli at once. It makes sense that we experience so much dysregulation and inflammation. I find myself needing to detox at very regular intervals using constantly modified rituals.
Thanks for reading. It is so hard for my brain to keep up with content. May you find homeostasis off and online.
I loved this piece you wrote on the wisdom of forests! It kept me captivated and I appreciate the tone. I find so often I cannot get through many substack posts but yours was refreshing. Thanks for reading this and for sharing your brilliant words!
Dear David! I am not sure what to say in response. You leave me speechless and flatter me.
You bless me! My oldest friend. I cherish that with all my heart. Thanks for reading, supporting, loving, expressing, and sharing what is in YOUR beautiful heart. You write so beautifully here. Xoxo
Ha! I like to think inner beauty is what is most important. And honestly I obviously only select photos I like so probably deceiving. Thank for reminder to use ones that I am not fond of sometimes. 🤣
Thank you, Nessa, your writing is soothing. 💜
Thank you for that! Coming from kindred Nasty Woman- that means a lot! Are you still in Netherlands? Let's connect when you can...

I enjoyed wandering through your collection, Nessa. Rather like a quite walk in an old-growth forest.
Thanks, Chuck! I feel honored by that description. If that is how you experienced it, it is similar to my experience living/sharing it.

Aw thank you!!
Nessa, I love all your writing. All your sweet spiritual and open thoughts. Your pure expressions of love for the earth. Your tender insight to life.
How sweet it is to be you.
Me? A linear (narrow-minded?) thinker. Never much thought to the big picture. Surrounded by miles of numbness.
How sweet it is to be me - to become familiar with your inspiring view.
How sweet it is to be your friend. - to marvel at and admire your transparency. To learn from your amazing warm human thoughts.
You bless me.
