Thank you to the OG Sangha of Wounded Healers for taking a chance and joining this group when I first created it on the Zen and The Art of Saving the Planet course community platform. The course was on the teachings of the late Zen Buddhist master Thich Nhat Hanh. I did not know if anyone would join. Many of you did and your stories are my buoyies. May this space be the continuation of that raft we built together.
Think of these words on the page of your screen as a seed to a garden that we create. We will pull old roots, compost, plant seeds, water, prune, and harvest together.
It is an experiment. We can start with questions or whatever we think. Open to all. Wounded healers and wounded.
We may also want a private option as this is public. Open to ideas and open to not taking this path but another organic one that we find ourselves on.
What observations do you find most heartening and disheartening about trends of health and healing? I will have to think about it…
I am here to say that I appreciate all your thoughts and comments! I love how this is a pop in and comment if you feel like kind of space. No pings or comment flags. Just on our own time raw and organic. Thank you.
I'll start:
Heartening: more are recognizing the importance of self healing in order to heal others
Disheartening: it is still ruled by systems entrenched in profit and will likely stay that way until complete topple
